LANCASTER, N.H. — A school principal’s wife has pleaded guilty to a harassment charge stemming from a case in which she was accused of impersonating a New Hampshire state investigator and tampering with a witness.

Kellie Gorham had worked as a paraprofessional at Colebrook Elementary School. Her husband, Dan Gorham, is principal.

The Caledonian Record reported Russell Marcotte told police Kellie Gorham shook her fist at his daughter, who attends the school. He said it was a result of ongoing bullying.

Authorities said in January, Kellie Gorham called Marcotte and posed as a state Department of Education investigator. She asked that his daughter retract her statement given to police.

Kellie Gorham received a 30-day jail sentence, suspended for a year of good behavior.
