History is being rewritten along the Foreside. It is disturbing to see many of the older homes being “renovated” and their architecture completely altered. Foreside Road (Route 88, and formerly Route 1) is one of the earliest settled areas in this part of the state and its architectural heritage should be preserved, not destroyed.
