Hits the mark
Al Diamon’s column on election debates (Aug. 13) hits the mark and may be the funniest thing I’ve read in a local paper this year. Tub of Jello is a great metaphor for most “televised” (live) debates. And Al can really write, an increasingly rare art form in newspapers and publications generally.
However, he lacks the general hysteria of some other nearby southern Maine columnists. Something to work on, Al.
