KENNEBUNK — Leslie “Scott” Lindquist, 56, of Kennebunk died Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long battle with Huntington’s disease.

He was born in Biddeford on April 17, 1958, the son of Leon A. and Phyllis J. Wright Lindquist.

Scott attended Kennebunk High School and received his GED in 1984 from Biddeford High School.

Scott worked many years for McBride Landscaping until he was no longer able. He loved being outside as well as going to all of his children’s activities.

Scott was preceded in death by: his mother, Phyllis J. Wright Lindquist; his father, Leon Lindquist Sr.; and his sister, Lora Stone.

Scott is survived by: three children, April Ruffin and Nathan Lindquist of Saco, and Joshua Lindquist of Lyman; two brothers, Leon A Lindquist Jr. of Kennebunk and Lance Lindquist of Biddeford; two sisters, Linda Herschel of Biddeford and Lisa Lindquist Cook of Kennebunk; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Scott will be buried at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wells on Aug. 29. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
