YARMOUTH — Artists have until Friday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. to submit entries for the Yarmouth Art Festival.

The sixth annual art festival will be held Oct. 22-25 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road. The juried art show accepts submissions of painting, sculpture, photography, etching, and digital media, with a $15 fee for the first submission, $10 for the second, and $5 for each following piece. Artists must be 18 or older and residents of Maine, and work can be submitted online.

The submission fees, as well as sales commissions, will be donated to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and St. Elizabeth’s Essential Pantry in Portland. The festival is free to attend, although donations are accepted.

Selected artists will be notified on Oct. 1. Last year 74 artists displayed 160 pieces and 45 pieces were sold. The festival received 350 submissions.
