Gov. Paul LePage has spent the last four years breaking records and ensuring his place in Maine history. However, these “accomplishments” are not laudable and have only hurt Maine.

LePage has broken the record for most vetoes, currently at over 180. Just this year, LePage became the first Maine governor in recent history to sit out the supplemental budget development process. Let’s not forget the failed attempt to privatize the MaineCare rides program or the plagiarized Medicaid expansion report.

LePage needs to be ousted. The best candidate to replace LePage is Rep. Mike Michaud.

Michaud has been a voice for veterans since he took office, but he has also advocated for seniors, working Mainers and children. Michaud is the only candidate who listens and has experience working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to get things done. Vote Michaud in November.
