Rachel Chille, Yarmouth sophomore libero: The 5-foot-6 sophomore comes to the Clippers from the school’s soccer team. Athletic and strong she’s expected to make an impact for the defending Class B state champion. A strong player on her gold-level club team in the off-season.

Kayley Cimino, Greely sophomore setter: Cimino has talent and the ball skills that could help the Rangers return to the state final for the first time since 2012.

Kayla Fournier, Biddeford senior setter: The 5-6 captain is adept at setting up her team’s powerful outside hitters, and should help steer the team back to the state final, where it last played in 2012.

Ally Hickey, Falmouth senior middle hitter: Hickey’s powerful hitting and huge blocks at the net last year in the playoffs contributed to the Yachtsmen’s Class A state title run.

Jocelyn Moody, Biddeford junior outside hitter: The 5-7 captain will lead a team looking for redemption after getting bumped out in the state semifinals last year by eventual champion Falmouth.

Maddie Murphy, Cape Elizabeth junior middle hitter: The 5-10 veteran leads a team that had a breakout season last year, entering the playoffs ranked sixth with a 12-2 record. Murphy has great court sense and played a role in virtually every point in the playoffs last year.

Kenzie Sheehan, Yarmouth junior middle hitter: At 5-9, Sheehan is a powerful hitter on a young Yarmouth team that has won back-to-back Class B state titles.

Megan Tammaro, Falmouth senior setter: Instrumental in Falmouth’s successful title march. Tammaro boasted an 88 percent serving rate and was named the Maine Sunday Telegram outstanding performer of the year.

Lauren Weickert, Greely senior middle hitter: Weickert dominated at the net two years ago as a sophomore in Greely’s Class A state title win. She will be a key player as the Rangers try to get back to their state-title winning ways. Greely has won nine of the last 12 Class A titles.
