WOOLWICH — A public picnic follows the service at Day’s Ferry Congregational Church on Sunday, Sept. 14, with hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and potluck salads.

Church begins at 10 a.m., and lunch follows the benediction, at about 11 a.m. Organizers plan games as well. Rain or shine.
