Sea Bags, a company that makes and sells hand-crafted tote bags and other accessories from recycled sail cloth, recently expanded into the second floor of its Custom House Wharf building, tripling its manufacturing space. Last year President Beth Shissler brought in Don Oakes, an L.L.Bean executive, as CEO to help manage the growing company. Officials just returned from the Newport International Boat Show in Rhode Island where Sea Bags were exhibited.
