BRUNSWICK — Kira Wolpow scored three goals as the Brunswick High School girls soccer team rolled to a 9-0 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win over Skowhegan on Friday.

The Dragons improved to 3-3-1 and host Cony on Tuesday (3:30 p.m.).

Alicia Davis and Maeve Arthur added two goals each, with Kassidy Scarponi, Julia Champagne and Heather Kinee picking up a goal apice. Wolpow, Scarponi, Lena Martin, Champagne (two), Molly Gramins and Aidan Sachs each picked up assists.

Brunswick outshot Skowhegan 20-2. Dragons keeper Maddy Brescia had one save. Maddy Schrader turned aside eight shots for the Indians, who fell to 0-7.

Miracle Trimble scored the game-tying goal late in regulation as the Shipbuilders came away with a KVAC Class B tie with the Eagles on Friday.

Scoreless at the half, Morse (4-2-1) claimed a 1-0 lead on a Lauren Pelletier goal from the corner of the penalty area.

Erskine Academy (5-1-1) tied the game seven minutes later and claimed a 2-1 lead with 16 minutes left.

Pelletier assisted on Trimble’s goal, and Morse goaltender Alesha Aucoin had eight stops.

The Shipbuilders host Medomak Valley on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Abby Mazza and Leann McNally each scored two first-half goals as the Mountain Valley (5-3) held off the Wolverines (3-4) at Rumford on Friday in Mountain Valley Conference action.

Wiscasset rallied in the second half on goal apiece from Hanna Foye and Miranda McIntire, and goaltender Kayla Gordon had 18 saves.
