About 10 years ago, I started using the Falmouth Memorial Library and began to feel like a true citizen of Falmouth. Six years ago, I became a library trustee. A look at the monthly calendar will show the breadth and depth of library programming; many events are offered multiple dates to meet the varied needs of users. I have attended events where I was the last car to find a parking place. I have seen every computer busy and a wait list started. I go to the library every Saturday and most often have to wait for books through Inter-Library Loan because we don’t have room in our stacks for a large adult book collection. We need everyone’s support to create a new and beautiful expansion for the library that we all love. Please vote yes to support the referendum as a wise investment in our library and our town.
