He attended local schools and in 1968 became a firefighter for the town of Brunswick, retiring in 1988. He worked for Ray Labbe from 1978 until 2012, taking a five-year break in the 1990s. He enjoyed fast cars and boats, and was a big Patriots’ fan.
He is predeceased by a brother, Roland Brillant.
He is survived by three sons, Dale of Bangor, Mark of N. Waterboro, and Glenn of Spring Hill, FL, a daughter, Angel Nurse and her husband Steve of Naples, FL, a sister, Lucy Earl of Brunswick, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A period of casual conversation amongst friends will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 from noon to 2 p.m. at the N. Edward Chapman Gathering Room at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St., Auburn, ME 04210.
