BRUNSWICK — Tickets are now on sale for a Portland Pirates vs. Providence Bruins hockey game to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick.

The game is Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Arena, 1 Civic Center Square in Portland.

Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick by attending the Portland Pirates opening game. Tickets are $12 and all proceeds go to the non-profit organization, which matches adult and teen mentors to children primarily from single-parent and low income households. Its local programs match children “Littles” with adult “Bigs,” who act as mentors by providing friendship, support and guidance during the child’s critical childhood and adolescent years.
