NOTES

WILD: Minnesota reduced its training-camp roster to 27 players with the start of the season less than a week away.

The Wild assigned seven players to their AHL affiliate: defensemen Jonathan Blum, Justin Falk and Gustav Olofsson and forwards Tyler Graovac, Michael Keranen, Zack Phillips and Joel Rechlicz. They placed forwards Curt Gogol and Brett Sutter on waivers and will assign them to Iowa if they clear.

BLACKHAWKS: Chicago added forward Daniel Carcillo to its training-camp roster.

Carcillo split the previous regular season between the two Stanley Cup finalists, Los Angeles and the New York Rangers. He played for the Blackhawks’ championship team in 2013 and was with Philadelphia when it lost to Chicago in the 2010 Stanley Cup finals.
