Local J/24 sailing team “SeaBagsJ24.com,” from the Portland Yacht Club in Falmouth, finished 15th out of 70 boats at the recent J/24 World Championships in Newport, Rhode Island. The team finished as high as first in race three. The team includes Portland residents and Greely High School graduates, skipper Carter White and foredeck crew Molly White, and Brunswick resident and boat owner Mark Klein. Ben McAndrew of New York and Jeff Linon of Florida were also part of the team.
