BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School boys freshman soccer team battled Hyde to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday at Shulman Field.

Scoreless late in the second half, Lee Taylor launched a shot from the right wing that settled into the upper corner of the net past Phoenix goaltender Greg Kidger for a 1-0 Dragons lead.

But, Hyde fought back, getting the tying goal from Michael Jimenez off a rebound of a shot from Tyler Kyler.

Dragons keeper Jared Hummer had two saves, while Kidger turned away three shots. Playing well for Brunswick was Zach Boyle, Corbin Bouchard and Ryan Olson.
