BIDDEFORD — James Javon Ford, 21, of Biddeford, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough.

He was born Dec. 20, 1992 in New Britain, Connecticut, the son of James E. Ford and Elizabeth DiPietro.

He came to this area as a child, was educated locally and attended Biddeford High School.

Javon had been employed at the Dunkin Donuts and at the Shaw’s Saco locations.

He loved playing video games, group gaming and reading at the library. He was a lover of the “simple things,” and his family was proud to have Javon as a part of their lives.

Surviving are: his father, James E. Ford of Goldsboro, North Carolina; his mother, Elizabeth DiPietro of Old Orchard Beach; his sister, Justine DiPietro of Saco; his brother, Jarred Stankiewicz of Old Orchard Beach; his grandmother, Marjorie DiPietro of Old Orchard Beach; a niece, Hailey Townsend of Saco; and several aunts, uncles and cousins in North Carolina and Connecticut.

Visiting hours will be 4-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. To share condolences online, visit www.hopememorial.com.
