ADOPTION fees for Chaco, a 6-month-old short-hair cat, are half-off this weekend through the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick, as the animal shelter tries to bestow some good luck on some black cats. Beginning today, Halloween, through Sunday, Nov. 2, any cat that is colored black on 50 percent or more on its fur will be half-off to the right home.
