FALMOUTH — Connor Aube scored five touchdowns to lead Falmouth to its first-ever playoff win – a 48-6 victory over Morse in a Western Class B quarterfinal Friday.

Aube had 12 carries for 220 yards and four rushing touchdowns. He also caught five passes for 65 yards and a TD.

George Gilbert had a 32-yard touchdown reception 1:28 into the first quarter. Aube followed it with a 68-yard scoring run. He added TD runs of 3 and 48 yards as third-seeded Falmouth (8-1) opened a 28-0 lead after one quarter.

Aube added a 9-yard catch 36 seconds before halftime and a 39-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Nick Wisseman scored the final Falmouth touchdown on a 6-yard run in the third quarter.

Noah Nelson completed 11 of 15 pass for 139 yards. Aiden Murphy kicked six extra points.

Morse (4-5), the No. 6 seed, scored in the fourth quarter.

Falmouth faces No. 2 York in the semifinals next weekend.

MARSHWOOD 61, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Luc Blanchette passed for three touchdowns and Kyle Parmley threw for two scores as top-ranked Marshwood (9-0) beat eighth-seeded Fryeburg Academy in a Western Class B quarterfinal at South Berwick.

Brett Gerry led the ground game with 139 yards on 11 carries.

Zach Doyon had touchdown catches of 18 and 65 yards. Ryan O’Neil also snagged two scoring passes, one for 15 yards and another for 20.

LAWRENCE 34, BREWER 14: Cody Martin threw four touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown, and the third-seeded Bulldogs (7-2) advanced to the Eastern Class B semifinals with a victory over the No. 6 Witches (4-5) at Fairfield.

Martin finished 15 of 20 passing for 307 yards. Dustin Simpson-Bragg and Seth Powers each caught a pair of touchdown passes.

The score was tied 14-14 when Lawrence took over on its own 38 with 18.7 seconds left in the first half. Martin threw short pass to Powers, who broke a few tackles on his way to a 23-yard gain. Martin threw deep and Simpson-Bragg caught the ball inside the 5 before falling into the end zone on the last play of the half.

MESSALONSKEE 48, MT. BLUE 28: The fourth-seeded Eagles (5-4) gained 516 of their 559 yards on the ground as they beat No. 5 Mt. Blue (4-5) in an Eastern Class B quarterfinal at Oakland.

Jack Bernatchez ran for 293 yards and five touchdowns. He scored four touchdowns in the first half, helping Messalonskee build a 28-14 halftime lead.

Colby Dexter ran for 116 yards, and Caleb Chavarie added 62 yards.
