In a recent debate, the three gubernatorial candidates were asked how they’d define “leadership.”
Each gave a reply, but throughout the televised debates, independent Eliot Cutler alone exhibited real leadership as he 1) gave straightforward answers to direct questions; 2) wasted little time playing the blame game with his opponents; 3) presented concrete plans for moving Maine forward (including how to pay for them), and 4) invited us to take ownership of our state’s future and vote for our hopes for Maine, rather than fears exploited by political partisans and media soundbites.
I urge my fellow Maine citizens not to throw their votes away on gamesmanship and partisan gridlock, but to vote for a genuine leader: Eliot Cutler.
