Incumbent Rep. Michael A. Shaw was re-elected Tuesday in a three-way race for the Maine House of Representatives seat representing District 23.

Shaw, a 42-year-old Democrat from Standish, won with 1,897 votes, or 48.5 percent.

Shaw is a railroad conductor who has served in the Maine House since 2009.

Lester Ordway of Standish, a Republican, came in second with 1,706 votes.

The 58-year-old is a teacher and former member of the School Administrative District 6 school board.

Michael Wakefield, a Green Independent, got 317 votes.

The district covers part of Standish.
