Winter Owl Prowl, 6 p.m. in Cape Neddick

Join the Center for Wildlife’s owl prowl on Nov. 14, Dec. 5, Jan. 2, Feb. 6 or March 6 for an evening of hoots. Each event starts at 6 p.m. with a presentation by the center’s educators on owl ecology, natural history and the struggles native owls face. Afterward the group will head onto the center’s trails to listen for owl hoots. This event has a $7 suggested donation per person, and reservations are required. Call 361-1400.

Gray Ghost Fly Tying, 6:30 p.m. in Yarmouth

Join the Gray Ghost Fly Tyers and learn how to tie two flies essential for any fly box: Gary LaFontaine’s Marabou Worm and Cal Bird’s Nest. The group meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays from November through March in the First Parish Congregational Church on Main Street. A $5 donation is requested. York County Audubon is hosting a film called the “Ordinary Extraordinary Junco” at the Mather Auditorium of the Wells Reserve. The film won first place in the noncommercial film division at the 30th annual Animal Behavior Film Festival in Boulder, Colorado. The 80-minute film captures the beauty of juncos while offering fascinating details on biology and natural history. The film is free and open to the public. No reservations needed. Moon Walk, 6 p.m. Dec. 6, in Biddeford
