BIDDEFORD — Priscille Bowden, 72, of Biddeford, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at her home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1942 in Biddeford, a daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Dauphinais) Pontbriant, and was educated locally, graduating from St. Joseph High School.

Priscille had been employed at the Reny’s department store in Biddeford.

She enjoyed games, puzzles, knitting, crocheting and sewing, and would make items to be donated to those in need. She also like to spend time with friends in her neighborhood.

She was preceded in death by: a son, Joseph Bowden Jr., in 200; a sister, Cecile Hanson, in 2010; and two brothers, Maurice and Albert Pontbriant.

Priscille is survived by: a daughter, Susan Bournival and her husband Mark of Biddeford; three grandchildren, Kristine and Carrie Bournival, both of Biddeford, and Joseph A. Bowden III of Massachusetts; and a niece, Diane Hanson and her children Joshua and Erica, all of Biddeford.
