A doctor from Maine is headed to West Africa to help in the international fight against Ebola.
Dr. Sharon McDonnell, a public health epidemiologist and an adjunct professor at the University of New England, left for Liberia on Tuesday, WCSH 6 reported.
McDonnell, of Falmouth, will be collecting and studying data with the International Rescue Committee.
