A pack of runners, some dressed in holiday costumes, round the Hay Building in Congress Square on Thursday morning, Nov. 27, during the 33rd annual Portland Thanksgiving Day 4 Miler road race. A two-mile loop led runners on a serpentine, two-lap course through the Old Port. More than 1,100 runners participated despite a snowy Thanksgiving eve and widespread power outages throughout the state.
