ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont man has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexually assaulting four women over a 12-year period.

Albert “Skip” Morrison of Hardwick was ordered held without bail after his appearance in Caledonia County Superior Court on Monday.

His lawyer argued the 53-year-old Morrison has been on parole for two years after being convicted of drunken driving and had been successfully supervised in the community by parole officers. He said he believed Morrison could be monitored.
