It was one of the snowier Turkey Day Games on record, as a big snowstorm the day before wreaked havoc for those attending. The Bulldogs led all the way in a 36-7 triumph.

Portland receives the Thanksgiving Day trophy after improving to 56-40-7 all-time in the series. Deering played the game without coach Matt Riddell, who resigned, citing family concerns, the day before.
