BRUNSWICK — Coastal Humane Society is celebrating the holidays with special events and a month-long adoption special: 50 percent off adoption fees for cats ages six months or older.
The shelter, at 30 Range Road, will hold open houses Dec. 19-21 from noon-6 p.m. that will include food, music and tours of the facility. Staff will be on hand to counsel anyone interested in giving a pet as a gift this season.
Visitors are invited to bring gifts for animals, to be placed under the tree in the shelter’s lobby. The shelter’s wish-list can be found at coastalhumanesociety.org/donate/wish-list/.
On Saturday, Dec. 20, the shelter will offer pet photos with Santa for $5.
