SACO — Norma Annagene Babcock Lambert, 86, of Saco, passed away June 12, 2014 at Gosnell House after a brief illness.

Mrs. Lambert was born Dec. 12, 1927 in California to parents Ray and Ruth (Eggers) Babcock.

Growing up in Shiprock, New Mexico, she graduated from Shiprock High School and Fort Lewis College in Hesperus, Colorado.

She worked in the administrative field all her life, retiring from Waterbury Company in 1991. She enjoyed travel, camping, reading, puzzles and spending time with family.

She married Paul Lambert on Nov. 10, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lambert; sister, Evan McLaughlin; brother, Duane Babcock; and daughter Julie Chapman.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Kathleen Babcock of Farmington, New Mexico; children, Kenneth Lambert and wife Deborah of Saco, Nancy Grant and husband Roger of Lyman, Elaine Prindall and husband Jay of Topsham, James Lambert of New Hampshire, Ann Tardif and her husband Renald of Kennebunk; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

At Norma’s request, there were no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gosnell House.
