OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Joline Delores Longtin, 72, of Old Orchard Beach, died Dec. 8, 2014 in Rhode Island, with family by her side, following a long illness.

She was born to the late Florian and Violet Longtin on May 17, 1942 in Lewiston.

Joline graduated from Western State College of Law in 1982 with a Juris Doctor degree.

She was employed as a litigator by Safeway Stores while residing in Southern California. Prior to her law career, she resided in Africa.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter Day Saints while abroad and in California and Maine.

She enjoyed painting, classical music, creating multi-cultural cuisine and gardening.

She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Thomas and Richard Longtin; sister, Carol Longtin Bartholomew; and her beloved shih tzu, Phoebe.

She is survived by: a son, Scott Dubois of Fyvie, Scotland; a sister, Sandra Longtin of Rhode Island; a grandson, Joshua Longtin of Lyman; five nieces; one nephew; six grand-nieces; and four grand-nephews.

A service will be held at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 15 Smith Lane, Saco, on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 3350 Riverwood Parkway, Suite 1400, Atlanta, GA 30339.
