FRYEBURG — Kennebunk went 7 for 7 from the foul line in the fourth quarter and held on to beat Fryeburg Academy 64-58 in a boys’ basketball game Monday evening.

Kennebunk (2-2) took a 47-37 lead into the fourth quarter before Fryeburg Academy (2-1) cut the deficit to three with four minutes remaining.

Jack Lapham scored 20 points to lead the Rams. Zach MacKinnon added 14 points and Travon Bradford had 13.

Ryan Gullickson had 20 points for Fryeburg Academy. Jonathan Burk chipped in 15 and Ben Southwick 11.

CAPE ELIZABETH 72, FREEPORT 40: Quinn Hewitt was one of four Capers (3-0) in double figures and they beat the Falcons at Cape Elizabeth.

Hewitt finished with 12 points, while Edward Galvin, Grady McCormick and Ethan Murphy each added 11. Cape Elizabeth jumped out to a 34-20 lead at the half.

Jack Davenport scored 10 points for Freeport.

BOOTHBAY REGION 86, TELSTAR 44: John Hepburn scored a game-high 29 points and the Seahawks (5-0) beat the Rebels (1-4) at Bethel.

Julian Aponte scored 14 points and Jacob Leonard added 10 for Boothbay Region.

Michael Dougherty had 18 points for Telstar, while Cameron Pike added 11 and Jeremiah Richards had 10.

HALL-DALE 51, WISCASSET 33: Nat Crocker scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs to a win in Farmingdale.

Brian Allen and Wesley Lapointe each added eight points for Hall-Dale (4-1).

Daren Wood had 14 points for Wiscasset (2-3).

Girls basketball

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 44, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 14: Abigail Dubois scored 13 of her game-high 17 points in the first half as the Seagulls (3-0) handled the Panthers (0-3) at Yarmouth.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 69, KENNEBUNK 45: Nicole Bennett had a game-high 19 points as the Raiders (2-2) ran past the Rams (0-4) at Kennebunk. Julia Quinn added 17 points for Fryeburg Academy.

Stephanie Sullivan led Kennebunk with 15 points, while Madi Lux added five points and 11 boards.

CAPE ELIZABETH 62, FREEPORT 47: Montana Braxton finished with 21 points while Maddie Bowe and Hannah Sawyer added 15 and 13 points respectively to lead the Capers (2-1) past the Falcons (0-4) at Freeport.

Taylor Rinaldi paced Freeport with 13 points.

Girls’ hockey

CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 2, YORK 1: Hannah Bosworth had a goal and an assist as Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (4-3) edged the Wildcats (3-2) at Dover Ice Arena.

Julia Ginder scored with assists from Bosworth and Kate Ginder late in the first period.

Bosworth then added an unassisted short-handed goal midway through the second period.

Emma Ford put York on the board late in the second period with assists from Maeve Campbell and Katherine Bertolini.
