The body of a Kennebunk woman who had been missing since Sunday was found Thursday evening in tidal waters near the Drakes Island side of Wells Harbor.
Wells police Sgt. Kevin Chabot said local police, with assistance from the Wells harbormaster, found the body of Kathryn J. Ryan, 61, around 5:30 p.m.

Investigators from Wells and Kennebunk police and the Maine Marine Patrol determined that Ryan’s death was not suspicious. The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office will examine her remains to determine how she died.
Authorities said Ryan’s vehicle was found Wednesday in a town parking lot on Drakes Island in Wells. At the time, police said they were concerned for her well-being because she may have had medical issues.
