SACO — Madeline Beaudoin, 78, of Saco, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born in Biddeford on April 27, 1936, a daughter of Leo and Amy (O’Neill) Harriman.

She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School, class of 1954. She served her country in the U.S. Air Force. Madeline was a graduate of the School of Cosmetology in Portland.

Madeline was self-employed at Madeline’s Hair Replacement Clinic for more than 40 years. She was passionate about helping people look their best, especially when they were receiving cancer treatment. Madeline received a lifetime inspiration award honored by Margaret Brown.

While her work was her true passion, some of her favorite activities included blueberry picking and vacuuming her swimming pool on a sunny day.

Madeline will be remembered for her loving and generous spirit and a keen sense of humor. She was devoted to her family and had a close relationship with God.

She was predeceased by: her former husband, Ernest Beaudoin, Jr.; and siblings, Theresa Childs, Robert Harriman, and Loretta Elie.

She is survived by: her children, John Beaudoin of Saco, Ann Meyer and her husband Charles of Bloomfield, NY, and Ken Beaudoin and his wife Kristen of Saco; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Palmer of Saco; her grandchildren, Kenneth Beaudoin and Ashley Hall, Cassie Beaudoin and Nate Jackson, Cove Beaudoin, Paige Beaudoin, Emma Meyer and Jack Meyer; her great-grandsons, Kamden Beaudoin and Bryce Jackson; her siblings, Sally Pollock and her husband Charles, Peter Harriman, Everett Harriman, Mary Ann Manning and Doris Brooks; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at Funeral Seacoast Chapel in Saco. Entombment will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
