Portland police are investigating the death of an infant at a home on Leland Street.
Police were called to 40 Leland St. at about 10 a.m. Thursday, a city spokesman said.
A police official said the infant’s death does not appear to be suspicious but that the State Medial Examiner’s Office will make a final determination.
No other details about the death were immediately available.
