FALMOUTH — Jack Simonds scored 19 of his 28 points in the first half Friday night as Falmouth took control and went on to a 66-42 victory against Lake Region in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy basketball game.

Simonds also finished with 10 rebounds, Colin Coyne added 18 points and Samuel Skop tossed in 11 for Falmouth (9-3), which led 37-21 at the half.

Nate Smith had 15 points for Lake Region (8-4).

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 65, A.R. GOULD 25: Tim Yeaton had 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Guardians (10-1) cruised past the Bears (2-9) at South Berwick.

Caleb LaCroix had 17 points and six assists, and Isaac LaCroix added 15 points and five assists.

Moumad Moumad led A.R. Gould with six points.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 73, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 7: Jeremiah Hammond scored 19 points, Matthew Hammond added 16 and the Lions (3-8) beat Highview Christian (0-9) at Bangor.

Greater Portland Christian also got 10 points apiece from Eddie Daigneault, Killian Patterson and Ethan Spaulding.

CAPE ELIZABETH 64, KENNEBUNK 43: Quinn Hewitt scored nine of his 13 points in the first quarter as the Capers (10-2) opened with a 20-6 run and defeated the Rams (4-8) at Cape Elizabeth.

Finn Bowe added 11 points and Jack O’Rourke tossed in 10 for Cape Elizabeth.

Zach MacKinnon scored 20 points to lead Kennebunk. Jack Lapham added 10.

MARSHWOOD 46, WESTBROOK 41: Drew Bartlett scored eight of his 14 points in the third quarter as Marshwood (6-5) turned a one-point halftime deficit into a 30-23 lead and defeated the Blue Blazes (7-6) at Westbrook.

Bartlett scored his other six points in the fourth quarter.

Ryan O’Neil added 12 points for the Hawks. Derek Breunig scored 18 for the Blazes.

BONNY EAGLE 68, SCARBOROUGH 50: Ben Malloy had a game-high 24 points along with seven rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead the Scots (8-5) past the Red Storm (7-6) at Standish.

Malloy scored nine points in the third quarter as Bonny Eagle used a 20-8 run to open a 53-36 lead.

Nick Dubay added 20 points for the Scots. Milani Hicks had 22 for Scarborough.

THORNTON ACADEMY 73, BIDDEFORD 48: Ben Lambert scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half as the Golden Trojans (4-7) raced to a 43-19 lead against the Tigers (1-11) at Biddeford.

Kevin Barrett added 14 points for Thornton, 10 in the first half.

Austin Dutremble scored 13 points to lead the Tigers.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 55, FREEPORT 42: Ryan Gullikson scored 22 points as the Raiders (6-6) handled the Falcons (0-12) at Fryeburg.

Jonathan Burk added 10 points for Fryeburg, which took a 22-5 first-quarter lead.

Jack Davenport scored 15 points for Freeport.

YARMOUTH 61, GREELY 42: Cody Cook scored 11 of his 22 points in the second period as the Clippers (9-3) used a 17-7 run to open a 26-17 lead against Greely (6-5) at Yarmouth.

Jordan Brown added 12 points for Yarmouth. Matt McDevitt had 20 for the Rangers.

GORHAM 60, NOBLE 36: The Rams (8-4) used a 28-8 second quarter to open a 41-21 lead against the Knights (2-10) at North Berwick.

Tyler Bernaiche scored all 17 of his points in the first half, including five 3-pointers. Nick Thibeault finished with 14 and Sam Kilborn added 12 for Gorham.

Shane Cleveland and Nolan Smeeton each scored 10 points for Noble.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 74, MT. VIEW 48: Nicholas DePatsy scored 17 points, Cameron Allaire had 16 points and eight rebounds, and the Panthers (11-2) used a big third quarter to put away the Mustangs (4-9) at Waldoboro.

DePatsy and Micah Williamson each scored seven points in the third, when Medomak stepped up defensively in outscoring Mt. View 23-8 for a 55-30 lead. Williamson finished with 13 points.

Nathan Wren scored 19 points for the Mustangs.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 62, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 45: Tyler St. Pierre had 29 points, five assists and four steals, and the Patriots (6-6) used a big second half to pull away from the Seagulls (5-5) at Gray.

St. Pierre scored 17 after halftime, when Gray-New Gloucester had a 39-20 advantage.

Andreas Kariotis added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Patriots, and Zackery Haskell had 11 points and 10 boards.

Evan Christensen scored 11 points for Old Orchard.

GARDINER 78, NOKOMIS 61: Jordan Lamb had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers (11-2) past Nokomis (2-11) at Newport.

Seth McFarland added 16 points and nine rebounds, and Brad Weston scored 11 points for Gardiner.

Alex Baird scored 14 points for Nokomis. Josh Smestad added 10.

CONY 76, LAWRENCE 55: Liam Stokes scored 16 points to lead the Rams (9-4) over the Bulldogs (2-11) at Fairfield.
