OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Maria Valente scored 15 points Friday night to lead Gray-New Gloucester to a 52-40 victory against Old Orchard Beach in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl basketball game.

Zoe Adams had 11 points and Alicia Dumont added 10 for Gray-New Gloucester (11-1).

Abigail Dubois led Old Orchard (7-2)with 15 points. Haley Plante tossed in 12.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 59, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 41: Clarissa Jones finished with 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lions (2-7) past the Knights (1-8) at Charleston.

Erin Robinson had 13 points, Jessica Smith added 11, and Ashlee Dawson finished with nine points and five blocks.

Kelsea McDonald led Highview with 21 points. Megan McDonald added 16.

SCARBOROUGH 49, BONNY EAGLE 36: Sam Sparda scored four fourth-quarter baskets as the Red Storm (6-6), leading 33-28 through three quarters, pulled away from Bonny Eagle (4-8) at Scarborough.

Ashley Briggs led Scarborough with 13 points and Sparda added 10. Cassidy Emery led the Scots with 12.

GORHAM 57, NOBLE 21: The Rams (10-2) took a 30-11 halftime lead and cruised past the Knights (0-12) at Gorham.

Emily Esposito scored 20 points, Molly Merrifield had eight and Kaylea Lundin tossed in seven for Gorham.

Melodie Bailey and Kayla Lessard each scored four points for Noble.

MCAULEY 58, SANFORD 28: Jessica Willerson had 17 points and eight rebounds, Ayla Tartre added 14 points and the Lions (11-1) beat the Spartans (1-10) at Portland.

Eva Mazur contributed eight rebounds, five assists and six steals for McAuley.

MARSHWOOD 46, WESTBROOK 39: Megan McLean had seven points in a 15-6 third quarter as the Hawks (7-5) rallied past the Blue Blazes (6-6) at South Berwick.

Westbrook had a 21-19 lead at the half.

McLean finished with 16 points and six steals, and Hanna Philbrick had five points and six rebounds for Marshwood.

Alisha Aube scored 22 points for Westbrook.

SOUTH PORTLAND 60, CHEVERUS 45: The Red Riots (8-3), led by Madeline Hasson’s seven points and a defense that consistently created turnovers off inbounds plays, opened the game in South Portland with a 20-2 run against Cheverus (6-6).

Hassan and Holly Black finished with 14 points each for South Portland. Laura Holman scored 14 and Brooke Dawson 11 for the Stags.

CAPE ELIZABETH 49, KENNEBUNK 32: Montana Braxton scored 13 points to pace the Capers (7-5) over the Rams (2-10) at Kennebunk.

LAKE REGION 58, FALMOUTH 35: CeCe Hancock scored nine points and Kristen Huntress added a pair of baskets to push the Lakers (7-4) to a game-opening 15-4 lead against Falmouth (7-4) at Naples.

Hancock finished with 24 points and seven assists, and Huntress 13 points. Ally Hickey led the Yachtsmen with 10 points.

BRUNSWICK 86, BREWER 33: Julia Champagne had 34 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and five steals as the Dragons (7-5) dominated the Witches (0-12) at Brunswick.

Madeline Suhr added 23 points, six blocks, five assists and five steals for Brunswick.

Ellie Horr led Brewer with seven points.

GREELY 54, YARMOUTH 22: Ashley Storey scored six points, and Isabel Porter, Moira Train and Haley Felkel drained 3-pointers as the Rangers (10-2) used a 15-5 run in the second period to open a 23-13 lead against the Clippers (4-8) at Cumberland.

Storey added 14 points and Train eight as Greely outscored Yarmouth 31-9 in the second half.

Storey finished with 28 points and Train 11.

RICHMOND 32, VINALHAVEN 28: Kelsea Anair scored 14 points and Meranda Martin added seven to lead the Bobcats (7-4) over Vinalhaven (3-6) at Richmond.

Richmond led 24-11 at the half.

Gilley Anne Oakes scored 13 points for the Vikings.

OXFORD HILLS 64, MESSALONSKEE 47: Oxford Hills (11-2) used a 22-6 run in the second quarter to defeat Messalonskee (6-7) at South Paris.
