GORHAM — Derek Neal scored four goals Saturday to lead York to a 6-4 victory against Gorham in a schoolboy hockey game at the University of Southern Maine.

The teams traded goals in the first period before the Wildcats (7-3) scored three unanswered goals in the second for a 4-1 lead.

Travis Mansir scored two goals for Gorham (7-2-1).

SOUTH PORTLAND/FREEPORT/WAYNFLETE 2, MARSHWOOD/TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Chris Mitchell scored from Andrew Whipple and Aidan Schifano with 36 seconds remaining to lift South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete (8-4) over Marshwood/Traip Academy (1-7) at Dover, New Hampshire.

After a scoreless first period, South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete took the lead with 3:42 left in the second when Whipple scored from Mitchell.

LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 8, BRUNSWICK 4: Lawrence/Skowhegan (4-5-1) scored five goals in the first period and stopped Brunswick (8-4) at Winslow.

GREELY 2, GARDINER 0: Colby Williams and Ben Kennedy scored, and Kyle Kramlich stopped 20 shots to lift the Rangers (2-8) over the Tigers (3-7) at Hallowell.

Williams opened the scoring with an unassisted short-handed goal after 12:47. Kennedy added a power-play goal from Andrew Ray and Colby Robinson with 5:51 left in the game.

ST. DOMINIC 5, CHEVERUS 2: Brad Berube, Noah Toussaint and Gavin Bates scored first-period goals for the Saints (8-1-1) against the Stags (8-3-1) at Portland.

Ryan Lutrzykowski and Adam Poulin also scored for the Saints, who led 4-0 going into the third period. Poulin and Berube also had one assist apiece.

POLAND/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/OAK HILL 7, WINDHAM 3: Jason Cote and Ryan Lavoie each scored two goals, and Cote also had one assist to lead the 26ers (4-6) past the Eagles (3-5-1) at Auburn.

Tyler Johnson, Zack Callahan and Gage Chenard scored for Windham.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

YARMOUTH/FREEPORT/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 6, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 1: Katie Clemmer had a goal and three assists, and Emily Johnson scored twice to lead Yarmouth/Freeport/Gray-New Gloucester (7-5-1) over Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (7-7) at Portland.

Michelle Robichaud, Keeley Arnold and Colleen Sullivan added one goal apiece for Yarmouth/Freeport/Gray-New Gloucester, which scored three unanswered third-period goals.

FALMOUTH 8, GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 1: Sarah Hutcheon scored four straight goals in the second period to lead the Yachtsmen (9-4) past Gorham/Bonny Eagle (7-7) at Falmouth.

Hutcheon also had one assist, and Abi Lebel finished with one goal and four assists for Falmouth, which totaled six goals in the second period.

HYDE 48, SACOPEE VALLEY 31: Andrew Palmero scored 11 points and Gregory Kidger added 10 to help the Phoenix (9-1) pull away from the Hawks (2-8) at South Hiram.

Keifer Cundy added nine points for the Phoenix, all in the third quarter as Hyde used a 19-6 run to extend a 20-13 halftime lead.

PORTLAND 65, MARSHWOOD 47: Amir Moss scored 13 points to lead the Bulldogs (12-0) over Marshwood (6-7) at Portland.

RICHMOND 41, VINALHAVEN 27: Sydney Tilton had 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Bobcats(8-4) over Vinalhaven (3-7) at Richmond.

HYDE 31, SACOPEE VALLEY 28: Hyde (9-0) scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, including eight from the foul line, to rally past Sacopee Valley (6-5) at South Hiram.

BOOTHBAY REGION 61, MT. ABRAM 10: Sara Durgin scored 17 points for the Seahawks (12-1) against Mt. Abram (1-12) at Boothbay Harbor.

WELLS 42, TRAIP ACADEMY 29: Sara Ring scored 12 points for the Warriors (3-9), who used a 13-3 fourth-quarter run to pull away from the Rangers (3-8) at Wells.
