FALMOUTH — McKenna Gerchman was fouled at the buzzer and made the second of two foul shots to give Fryeburg Academy a 33-32 win over Falmouth in a girls’ basketball game Monday.

Julia Quinn scored a game-high 14 points for Fryeburg (6-7).

Ally Hickey and Jessica Burton each had nine points for Falmouth (7-5).

McCAULEY 55, WESTBROOK 31: Jessica Willerson scored 17 points to lead the Lions (12-1) to a win over Westbrook (6-7) at Portland.

Alisha Aube had 15 points for Westbrook.

BRUNSWICK 82, BREWER 38: Julia Champagne scored 14 points of her 32 points in the first quarter and the Dragons (8-5) beat the Witches (0-13) in Brewer. Madeline Suhr added 17 points.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 66, KENTS HILLS 26: Abby Dubois had 16 points and Peyton Feitz 11 as the Seagulls (8-2) beat the Huskies (2-4) at Kents Hill. Allie Helfrich scored a game-high 20 points for Kents Hill.

FOREST HILLS 63, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 43: Linda Riley scored 18 points as the Tigers (12-2) beat the Lions (2-9) at South Portland.

Keely Taylor added 13 points for Forest Hills. Ashley Dawson had 13 points for the Lions

CAPE ELIZABETH 46, LAKE REGION 45: Madeleine Bowe had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Capers (8-4) past the Lakers (7-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Montana Braxton added 12 points for the Capers. Sierra Hancock had 13 points and Sarah Hancock 11 for the Lakers.

SOUTH PORTLAND 68, MARSHWOOD 50: Madeline Hasson had 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four steals to give the Red Riots (10-3) a win over Marshwood (7-6) at South Portland. Meghan Graff added 15 points for South Portland.

YORK 73, TRAIP ACADEMY 45: Shannon Todd scored 17 points to lead the Wildcats (10-2) to a win over Traip Academy (3-9) at Kittery.

Mia Briggs added 12 points for York. Jessica MacNeill scored 17 points for the Rangers.

HOCKEY

BRUNSWICK 4, WINSLOW 2: Tessa Cassidy had two goals and an assist to lead the Dragons (2-13) past the Black Raiders (2-11-2) in Winslow.

Colleen McKearney and Maddie Wilkes scored for Brunswick. Jordan Van Savage made 18 saves.

EDWARD LITTLE/LEAVITT/POLAND 4, CAPE/WAYNFLETE/SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Kylie Bureau scored twice and Tori Sanford made 12 saves as the Red Hornets (13-2-1) shut out the Capers (7-8) in Auburn.

Maddy Derosa and Grace McBride added third-period goals. Lily Jordan made 23 saves for the Capers.

FALMOUTH 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Sarah Hutcheon had a goal and an assist as the Yachtsmen (10-4) beat the Tigers at Family Ice Center.

Evie Clement, Caroline Proctor and Martina St. Angelo each had one goal. Ally Hurdman made eight saves. Ailaina Keely had 29 saves for Biddeford.

YORK 5, PORTLAND/DEERING 1: Kayla Kelly had a goal and an assist to help the Wildcats (9-5) beat Portland/Deering (1-12-1) in York.

Grace Campbell, Jessa Smith, Rosie Perkins and Kara Kelly also scored for York. Lauren McIntyre scored for Portland/Deering.

GREELY 5, YARMOUTH/FREEPORT 2: Emilee McGillicuddy and Danita Storey each had two goals to lead the Rangers (13-2-1) past Yarmouth/Freeport (7-6-1) at Cumberland.
