Franz-Peter Jerosch, 13, of Yarmouth and his partner placed eighth in juvenile pairs at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Jerosch and Lindsey Stevenson, 15, of Southborough, Massachusetts, earned their berth by placing second in the Eastern Sectionals in November. Representing the Skating Club of Boston, they received a score of 31.37 to finish within eight points of champions Altice Sollazo and Paul Yeung of California.
Twelve pairs competed in the event. Jerosch, an eighth-grader at Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth, reached the 2014 national championships in juvenile boys last winter, where he placed eighth.
