DAYTON — Steven Kent Field, 67, passed away at his home on Jan. 15, 2015.
He was born on June 9, 1947 in Melrose, Mass-
achusetts, the son of William and Ruth Field.
Steven graduated from Bonny Eagle High School. As a younger man he loved to backpack up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with close friends and family.
Steven was self-employed for many years, running a painting business, and he also worked maintenance for the last three years at White Lamb Cottages in Old Orchard Beach.
Steve was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4030.
Steven loved to read; he could read four or five novels a week. He loved his family unconditionally and loved spending time with them. He also had a beautiful friend, Pauline Crowley, whom he loved spending time with. They enjoyed many great adventures together.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Field and Becky Field; and three grandchildren, Tyler Field, Steven Field and Michael Bourgault, all of Saco.
Friends and family may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 4 -7 p.m.
