STANDISH — A woman whose car was struck Friday by a fully loaded logging truck in on Route 25 in Standish suffered serious injuries, authorities said.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says Helen Dobosz, 72, of Seekonk, Massachusetts, was driving through an intersection around 4:30 p.m. Friday when her car was hit on the passenger side by the logging truck. She had to be extricated from the vehicle before she could be taken to a hospital for treatment. Her car was destroyed.
The truck’s occupants were not injured.
An investigation is continuing.
