A Massachusetts woman whose car was struck by a logging truck in Standish was listed in critical condition Saturday night at a Portland hospital.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Helen Dobosz, 72, of Seekonk was driving a 2009 Honda Accord at 4:30 p.m. Friday on Saco Road and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Route 25. Dobosz pulled out into the intersection and was struck on the passenger side by a fully loaded logging truck operated by Brian Noke, 29, of Limington, who was heading west.

Dobosz was extracted from the Honda and taken to Maine Medical Center, police said. She was in critical condition at the hospital Saturday night.

Noke and two passengers in his truck were not hurt.

Route 25 was shut down for several hours.

Police are investigating the crash. They said they do not believe speed or alcohol were factors.
