Despite to the forecast calling for 18-24 inches of snow and blizzard conditions, The Times Record is planning to produce a newspaper on Tuesday.

“Because we publish late morning, we are concerned about our ability to get The Times Record to our subscribers’ homes or get single copies to our dealers; our single copy buyers, similarly, could have difficulty getting to stores to purchase copies,” said Publisher and Advertising Director Larry Hubner. “We will, however, make our best attempt to get the newspaper to our readers. We appreciate the public’s understanding.”

Readers are encouraged to send us their storm photos, emailing them and some identifying information to news@timesrecord.com, for use in Wednesday’s newspaper.

Though it was still early in the day, by press time today, the Brunswick school district has canceled school for Tuesday. In addition, the town of Freeport has announced a parking ban, which will be in effect from 11 p.m. tonight until noon Wednesday, Jan. 28.
