BIDDEFORD — Mama Africa presents the first annual Human Rights and Social Justice Biddeford event at the MacArthur Public Library, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. Below is a schedule of events for the day.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Bagels and orange juice plus information tables presented by the Southern Maine Workers’ Center, Maine Prison Advocacy Coalition, Maine Independent Green Party and Maine Voices for Palestinian Rights.
2:15-1:15 p.m.: Community forum on human rights and social justice. Bring your voice, your opinions and your stories.
1:30-3:30 p.m.: Presentation on Palestinian art and human rights by Miss LPK.
3:30 p.m.: Raffle drawing and clean up.
