FRYEBURG — Ashley Storey scored 18 points Wednesday night to lead Greely to a 53-37 vicory against Fryeburg Academy in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl basketball game.

Julia Quinn led Fryeburg (7-8) with 18 points. Alexis L’Heureux-Carland added seven.

Isabel Porter and Moira Train added eight points each for Greely (12-2).

MCAULEY 59, BONNY EAGLE 23: Jessica Willerson had 14 points as McAuley (14-1) downed Bonny Eagle (5-10) at Portland.

Ayla Tarte chipped in with 11 points, and Eva Mazur added eight points and five steals for McAuley.

THORNTON ACADEMY 42, WESTBROOK 21: Ashley Howe finished with 19 points to lead the Trojans (13-2) past the Blue Blazes (7-8) at Westbrook.

Alisha Aube led Westbrook with eight points.

YORK 46, YARMOUTH 35: Shannon Todd scored 13 points and Chloe Smedley 10 to lead York (13-2) past the Clippers (6-9) at Yarmouth.

Ella Antolini collected 12 rebounds for Yarmouth.

CAPE ELIZABETH 44, POLAND 19: Montana Braxton and Madeleine Bowe scored 10 points each to lead the Capers (9-5) past Poland (8-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

Cape took control early with a 13-1 first-period lead and wasn’t challenged the rest of the game.

CHEVERUS 55, SCARBOROUGH 41: Diedre Sanborn scored six points as the Stags (9-6) opened the game with a 16-8 run against Scarborough (7-8) at Portland, and gradually widened the lead.

Emme Poulin’s 13 points led Cheverus. Ashley Briggs scored 14 for the Red Storm, and Bailey Adams 11.

LAKE REGION 54, FREEPORT 42: Lauren Jakobs scored 16 points and Sarah Hancock 13 to lead Lake Region (9-6) over the Falcons (1-14) at Freeport.

MT. ARARAT 53, CONY 27: Lindsey Corneilson and Sarah Lamb scored 11 points apiece as Mt. Ararat cruised past Cony (1-14) at Augusta.

Haley Ward and Cari Hopkins each had six points to lead Cony.

MESSALONSKEE 64, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 28: Sophie Holmes scored a game-high 18 points as the Eagles (8-8) soared past the Broncos (8-7) at Hampden.

Ally Turner added nine points and eight rebounds for Messalonskee, while Halee Flewelling and Mc- Kenna Brodeur each chipped in with eight points.

HOCKEY

CAPE ELIZABETH/SOUTH PORTLAND/WAYNFLETE 1, YORK 1: Jessa Smith scored the tying goal with 57 seconds left in regulation as York (10-5-1) tied Cape Elizabeth/South Portland/Waynflete (10-4-1) at Portland.

Kathryn Clark gave Cape/South Portland/Waynflete the lead early in the second period from Allie Mills and Hannah Bosworth.

FALMOUTH 6, SCARBOROUGH 3: Sarah Hutcheon scored twice during the final 1:15 of the second period to give the Yachtsmen (12-4) a 3-2 lead entering the final period against Scarborough (10-4-1) at Falmouth.

Hutcheon added a third-period goal to help Falmouth pull away.

Sami Shoebottom scored twice for the Red Storm.
