MASHANTUCKET, Conn. — Portland boxer Russell Lamour Jr. suffered his first loss as a professional Friday night, dropping a unanimous decision to Tommy Falowo of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in a New England middleweight championship fight shown on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.
Lamour, who entered as the New England champion with an 11-0 record, was on the defensive for much of the eight-round fight. One judge scored the fight 78-74 in favor of Falowo (13-3), while the other two gave Falowo a 77-75 edge.
