A Concord, New Hampshire, man suffered minor injuries when his pickup truck rolled over on the Falmouth spur Saturday afternoon.

The rollover occurred when Slade Green, 26, was headed westbound on the spur, near the on- and off-ramps with the Maine Turnpike.

Maine State Police Cpl. Lance McCleish said Green was blinded by the setting sun and hit the guardrail in the median of the spur, causing his pickup to roll over. The cab of the pickup was crushed, McCleish said, with only inches between Green’s head and the roof.

A rescue squad cut an opening to Green, who was taken to Maine Medical Center. McCleish said Green’s injuries were minor, mainly cuts and bruises.

No charges were filed, McCleish said.
