SACO — Victoria Lux scored 15 points and pulled down 17 rebounds Tuesday night to lead Thornton Academy to a 49-42 victory against Scarborough in an SMAA schoolgirl basketball game.

Ashley Howe added 10 points for the Trojans (15-2), who outscored Scarborough 16-6 in the third quarter to recover from a 22-21 halftime deficit.

Ashley Briggs led Scarborough (8-9) with 14 points. Brooke Malone scored 11.

YORK 54, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 48: Chloe Smedley finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Mia Briggs added 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats (14-2) over the Raiders (7-9) at York.

Julia Quinn led Fryeburg Academy with 14 points, Mackenzie Buzzell followed with 12 and Alexis L’Heureux-Carland 10.

GREELY 51, WELLS 19: Ashley Storey scored 21 points and Moira Train added 13 to lead the Rangers (14-2) past the Warriors (4-13) at Wells.

Storey scored 18 points as Greely raced to a 23-9 halftime lead.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 42, KENTS HILL 25: Suzanna Butterfield scored 15 points to pace the Panthers (4-13) past the Huskies (2-10) at Yarmouth.

NYA took control in the second quarter, outscoring Kents Hill 24-7 to extend its lead to 33-9.

OCEANSIDE 36, MEDOMAK VALLEY 35: Makenna Brooks went 1 of 2 from the foul line with 11 seconds left to break a 35-35 tie and lift the Mariners (11-6) over the Panthers (13-4) at Waldoboro.

MADISON 45, WISCASSET 40: Madeline Wood scored 15 points and Emily Oliver 11 to lead the Bulldogs (8-8) past Wiscasset (4-13) at Madison.

SACOPEE VALLEY 37, BUCKFIELD 27: Emma Glatzer scored seven of his 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-pointer, as the Hawks (9-7) outscored Buckfield (6-11) 12-4 at South Hiram.

Naudia Wesley had 13 points for the Bucks.

PORTLAND 44, BIDDEFORD 32: Elizabeth Donato scored nine of her 17 points in the second half as the Bulldogs (8-9) broke away from the Tigers (3-14) at Portland.

Katherine Johnson had eight points and Gabrielle Wagabaza seven for the Bulldogs, who broke it open with a 14-3 run in the third quarter after trailing 17-15 at halftime.

FALMOUTH 59, CAPE ELIZABETH 47: Ally Hickey scored 27 points, including five 3-pointers, and Jessica Burton added 14 points for Falmouth (11-6) against the Capers (9-7) at Cape Elizabeth.

The Capers trailed 23-14 at the end of the first quarter, then cut the deficit to four in the third before Falmouth pulled away.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 42, MT. VIEW 24: Brie Wajer finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, nine steals and five assists for the Eagles (12-5) against the Mustangs (3-14) at Thorndike.

MARSHWOOD 63, SANFORD 45: Lydia St. Pierre scored seven of her team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter as the Hawks (9-8) pulled away from the Spartans (4-13) at Sanford.

WINDHAM 37, WESTBROOK 35: Mya Mannette hit a baseline jumper at the buzzer to lift the Eagles (7-10) over the Blue Blazes (7-10) at Windham.

GORHAM 53, BONNY EAGLE 43: Emily Esposito scored six of her 14 points in the first quarter as the Rams (15-2) took a 17-4 lead against Bonny Eagle (6-11) at Gorham.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 43, YARMOUTH 27: Maria Valente scored 12 points and Alanna Camerl added nine for the Patriots (16-1), who used a 15-8 third-quarter run to pull away from the Clippers (6-11) at Yarmouth.

FREEPORT 50, KENNEBUNK 45: Taylor Rinaldi scored 19 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Falcons (2-15) against the Rams (2-15) at Freeport.

NOBLE 39, MASSABESIC 29: Kathryn Taylor scored 16 points to lead the Knights (1-16) over the Mustangs (1-16) at North Berwick.

SOUTH PORTLAND 63, CHEVERUS 55: Madeline Hasson scored 22 points and Holly Black 18 to lead South Portland (13-4) past the Stags (9-8) at Portland.

SCARBOROUGH 12, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 6: Samantha Shoebottom scored four goals and also had an assist for the Red Storm (13-4-1), who scored seven second-period goals against Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (7-10-1) at Saco.

BIDDEFORD 4, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: Ailaina Keely scored one goal and assisted on two others, and Suzette Lamoureux collected one goal and one assist for the Tigers (8-9-1) at Biddeford.
