President Obama’s impending decision on the Keystone XL pipeline is almost certain to result in a veto, luckily. This pipeline, if built, would run from Alberta to Steele City, Nebraska, carrying up to 830,000 barrels of crude oil a day.

As a nation, we should not be focusing on more ways to transport unsustainable forms of energy, but rather, collaborating to enforce sustainable energy practices and prioritizing the need to make the U.S. “green.”
