BRUNSWICK — Gabe Palizay and Kyle Hartford scored third-period goals 42 seconds apart to lift the Brunswick High School jayvee boys hockey team into a 2-2 tie with rival Mt. Ararat in recent action at Bowdoin College’s Sidney J. Watson Arena.

Steve Schuman and Sam Alexander scored 23 seconds apart in the second period to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. Alexander and Owen Kelly assisted on Schuman’s goal, while Jason Magno and Kelly had a helper each on Alexander’s tally.

Jared Hummer, Ryan Olsen and Alec Lemont had one assist each for the Dragons.

In goal, Nate Brewer and Parker Lacey combined on seven saves for Mt. Ararat, while Brunswick netminder Riley Kirk had nine stops.
